Guest Phaseolus (BeanMan)

This is a picture of the antlers from the first Bull Elk I ever shot. he had been in some kind of accident and had two spikes on one side and a 4 point spread on the other. he was with a bunch of cow elk and appeared to be healthy and normal. West Elk Wilderness area, Unit 53 Colorado.

Yep, he was a "RagHorn". Guess he injured the left antler some how. He's still a shooter in my book. We don't let them get to big here in Colorado. CB

The skull plate looks pretty ugly right now, it has been hangin in my shed for the last 15 years getting chewed on by dermestids etc. I should have cleaned it up for the photo. It really didn't have scabies.
