toddyboman
What do you guys think are sheds easier to find with snow on the ground or no snow just normal ground (whatever that is for your areas)????
rockefeller66
Re: Sheds and the snow usually when we got snow we got a bunch and that is hard to find sheds, I prefer hunting after heavy rains, grass if wet and laid down and sheds stick out real good! hunterDWL
Re: Sheds and the snow have to agree with rocketeller also i think they seem to a shine that makes them stick out more right after a rain
deershed
Re: Sheds and the snow Definately it's better hunting for sheds with out snow on the ground.Depending when and how long snow lays sheds can still be found. If I get a deep snow that falls before most buck start dropping and lays awhile.I'll get out and walk the trails the deer have cut though the snow. With the deep snow the deer tend to use the same trails that are already cut though the snow increasing the odds of dropping right in those same trails. The snow also helps concentrate the deer to a smaller area so when the snows do melt the sheds won't be so scattered around.
