Re: Sheds and the snow

Definately it's better hunting for sheds with out snow on the ground.Depending when and how long snow lays sheds can still be found. If I get a deep snow that falls before most buck start dropping and lays awhile.I'll get out and walk the trails the deer have cut though the snow.

With the deep snow the deer tend to use the same trails that are already cut though the snow increasing the odds of dropping right in those same trails.

The snow also helps concentrate the deer to a smaller area so when the snows do melt the sheds won't be so scattered around.
