RDNKHNTR77
Re: Diet recipes????? i dont have ne recipes for ya huntin girl but i am a personal trainer and would tell u to eat 4-5 small meals a day and limit your fats and carbs. u want about a 50/50 carbs:protein ratio. oatmeal and some milk is a god way to start off. low fat yogurt later, come grilled chicken or a turkey sandwhich on wheat for lunch, fruit or veggies for another small meal, some fish or venison for dinner with some broccoli or another veggie. and maybe some nuts for a snack at night

RangerClay
Re: Diet recipes????? Andrea, I've seen your pictures and you certainly don't need to shed any pounds But if you really feel that you need to this is what I do. 1. Stay away from McDonalds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. Throw a frisbee with the kids/husband after dinner every night. 3. Eat more grilled food. In the summer we eat grilled fish one or twice a week. Top it off with a tossed salad. 4. Drink more water. No more soda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try this and you will be amazed at the pounds you take off. Joe
WHISKEYSWAMP
Re: Diet recipes????? Here's my typical diet: 7:00 am Breakfast: Oatmeal unsweetend w/ bluberries; this morning I added a scoop of chocolate protein mix to add a little flavor... wasn't too bad. Other days I substitute a meal replacement shake. 9:30 am Morning snack: fruit and/or protein drink. 12:00 pm Lunch: Turkey or chicken sandwich on whole grain bread w/ spinach. (bread should be whole grain or whole wheat) If your bread just says wheat then it is not as healthy. fruit or hand full of almonds on the side. 2:30 pm Afternoon snack: Fruit or protein shake... or a few shrimp is always good for protein. 5:30 pm Dinner: Chicken or lean meat w/ steamed vegetables... usually Broccoli and carrots. 8:00 pm: light snack if hungry. I try not to eat within 2 hours of going to bed but as a general rule you should never go to bed hungry. The whole point is to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day istead of three large ones to keep the metabolism burning.
