JKAPP01
I was curious if anyone has tried out the new blazer vanes that have been advertised on the outdoor channel........they are offering a free trial with them and thought about giving them a whirl..... dogdoc
Re: Blazer Vanes if they are brand new--haven't tried them. If they are the ones that have been out a few years---they shoot great!
gowest
Re: Blazer Vanes They flat out fly great! I was using the NAP Quick Spins and switched to the Blazers for weight and durability concerns. By saving weight I was able to switch to 100 gr. G5 Montecs (fixed bldes) and now my ACC's fly like darts. It will be a long time before I shoot anything other than Blazers My set up: Mathews SQ2 73# Trophy Ridge Drop Zone HHA Optimizer Light ACC 3-61's 28.25" 100 gr G5 Montecs 2" Bohning Blazers String Loop Carter Release BLAZERS BLAZERS BLAZERS! Guest WI_Sportsman
Re: Blazer Vanes my buddy shoots blazer vanes, he loves them they shoot great out of his switchback he says that he isn't switching back no matter what. I can keep pace on speed with him just using regular vanes, he shoot more poundage than me to so I don't see the benefit but hey go with what works I guess
JKAPP01
Re: Blazer Vanes i was talking to a rep the other day, asking him about them and he said they fly better with mechanical broadheads than fixed blades.......but he said if you get the right set up hey can fly well.....they only make a 1.5'' and 2'' vane, so if you need to shoot a longer vane i guess the quick spins are working well too cuz they make up to a 4''
Ravin R10 man
Re: Blazer Vanes I hear they make you arrows fly straight....I may have to get some soon
Ravin R10 man
Re: Blazer Vanes the quick spin vanes are also supposed to be good....I hear they stabalize your shaft better and allows better penatration downrange. Any body try those yet?
JKAPP01
Re: Blazer Vanes hear more about the quick spins because they come in more lengths...........the blazers are a little bit taller than the quick spins.....i am going to go talk to my local archery dealer and do whatever they tell me to do since they are the ones who set up my bow
