well my coyote season is over!!! ended up with 107 coyote pelts[good ones] I did shoot about 15 more that were rubbed or mangy that were not worth skinning! even though I average about 100 a winter this year was great, we had absolutly no cold weather no snow, coyotes were not hungry,I was able to change my tactics all away from the distress and use coyote vocalization to bring them in, it was in my opinion my best year calling even though I did not use the distress much at all![and did not get my most coyotes] was a greta winter of huntign but I am ready to put the gun away, this mornign was my first day to sleep in since sept when I started bow huntign, felt good to not to have to worry about gettign out and then after a hard day hunting skinning coyotes lol!!

PS wife is happy its over to she will have a husband home for a few months lol!! now all I have ot worry abotu is the price, I am sellign the middle of the week and sounds like the prices have dropped, hope I can averge over 30 a pelt, terrable seeign 3 years ago it was well over 50 and 20 years ago was in the 150 range!! got to love the antis now don't we! mad.gif

Re: all done till nov!!!

the money is in her pocket as soon as I get it lol!!oh well its fun! ya fisherguy it is crazy, muskrats are pushign 4 bucks this year, and mink are still at 15 or so, no justification for it at all, this winter I did not even shoot fox,I did early and got 10 bucks for each of 2, jsut let them live till the prices go up ,I hear that beaver did jump abotu 20% but like you said it still takes a great beaver to get 30 for it,
