QDMAworks4me
I just wanted to share a few pictures of my 1972 chevy pickup. The reason I titled it "Grandma would be proud" is this truck used to belong to her before she passed away. I always loved the truck growing up and every time I drive it I feel like she is sitting in the passenger seat riding with me. I just finished fixing all the dents and dings that she left in it. Believe it or not grandma loved the color orange on it so when my father asked me what color I wanted to paint it I looked at him and smiled and said "grandma would want it orange" so that is what we did. The really nice thing about this truck is it only has 41,000 miles original miles on the factory 350 engine. I have a lot of plans for the truck but one step at a time. Just thought I would share. [/ QUOTE ] Even though the picture was taken with snow on the ground it has never seen a winter, it was stored inside, I just had to get a few pics so I pulled it out of the garage and it went right back in until spring, there is no rust at all on the truck

[/ QUOTE ] It was my grandfathers but I never got to meet him, he passed before I was born, so to me it has always been grandma's truck, and I have to tell you when I went though and took the dents and dings I was talking about earlier, grandma sure like to hit stuff, it is a good thing she was not a driving instructor at 4-H camp, haha
