PAbowhunter86
I hear alot about arrow weight, How do you know if you are using the correct arrow weight for your setup? Also how can I figure it out on my own? My bow is 28" draw lenght 60lbs What should I be using?
hutchies
Re: Question about Arrows Weight? 5 grains per pound of draw weight. So you can use a 300 grain arrow.

Chrud
Re: Question about Arrows Weight? 5 grains per pound is the minimum. That is total weight, including point, vanes, knock, insert, wrap, etc.
Leo
Re: Question about Arrows Weight? IBO weight arrows of 5gr/lb draw. Are often noisy and a real chore to tune (if you can, especially with broadheads). Sometimes a little more weight on the arrow makes very little difference in speed but makes for a quieter easier to shoot setup.
