bigmoss Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 I bought a Savage 22 Mark IV series the one with the clip in the bottom a few months ago. Lately after I take a shot and pull the bolt back it does not remove the empty casing. I have to use a small knife or screw driver to get it out. Any ideas on what to look at ? That will fix the majority of the problems with rimfire guns. Pull the bolt and clean the extractor with some good powder solvent. Be sure it has enough tension to grab the cartridge.
