Re: Al Gore is a Traitor

I'm assuming you got the story from this site, no surprise coming from NewsMax.

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/2/12/220618.shtml

If you read the story, it quotes Gore as saying "Arabs" not Saudi Arabian's. There's a big difference between those of a specific country and those of a large geographic area. And it is true, how many reports did you hear after 9/11 of people of middle eastern descent being assaulted or killed all because of the color of their skin and their place of birth, when 99.99999% of them had no knowledge or wherewithal to support the attacks.

I'm surprised you didn't say more about one of the sponsors being a construction firm that is owned by the Bin Laden family. Of course, Neil Bush also spoke at a conference sponsored by them also, so to criticize Gore for speaking at one, you would have to criticize the Bush family also, and we all know they have ties to the Bin Laden family also.

[ QUOTE ]

Fortunately Al Gore no longer represents the U.S. in any official capacity, so if he wants to go to some foreign country and place his left-wing idiocy on display for all to see, so be it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Have to agree with this, just hope this country does not make the mistake of putting him or Hillary in office in 2008.

Re: Al Gore is a Traitor

Actually, that's not where I got it from. Assume all you want. It is possible a Bush (who is Neil Bush anyway - never heard of him) also spoke at the same conference. Don't know - don't care. What I criticized was not what conference he said it at but rather what he said. He defamed America. Yes, there were hate crimes committed against Arabs after the approximate 3000 were killed by 15 Saudis on 9/11. Inexcusable. But, nothing like the hate crimes or murders committed over a few cartoons.

Point was, Gore was playing to his sheet head audience at the sake of his country - i.e. a traitor.

And, Gore may not represent the U.S. in any "official" capacity - to us. But, I doubt the ones he was sucking up to realize that. So, yes, it does matter what he says.

Hadnt thought about it that way, you are right. No doubt speaking out against our country, he is a traitor.
