Swamphunter
What is the difference? I just got my Cuddeback from Cabelas by UPS and not sure what the difference is between a SD card and a Compact Flash card. Man, what an instructional manual!! Master_Chief
Re: SD card vs. Compact flash? SD is new tech, faster transfer rates, and alot more compact than CF. CF is a cheaper media, and i have seen up to 4GB storage space. i think i've only seen 1 or 2GB for SD. Hope that helps.
billkay
Re: SD card vs. Compact flash? If you have he option of using either, I would go with the Compact Flash, if only for the savigs.
elnor
Re: SD card vs. Compact flash? SD cards are getting pretty cheap now, too, and in fact for the last 1.5 yrs or so have been outselling CF cards so price is coming down fast. Example: I bought a 512MB SanDisk (name brand) SD card from Office Depot this week, $36 in store but with $12 rebate will be $24 when all's said and done. wtnhunt
Re: SD card vs. Compact flash? SD cards are smaller, but are generally more expensive. Think the standard cards are all pretty close to the same as far as transfer rates. There are high speed compact flash cards also available, that have faster transfer rates.
