snapper
Re: Camo I love Hardwoods HD Green...it works great for the terrain I hunt here in PA. I tend to stay away from MO...seems too dark for me!
Strut10
Re: Camo I like to wear Advantage pants or bibs and a limb pattern like Hardwoods or even the old Brownleaf on top.

RUTNSTRUT
Re: Camo Realtree HD Green is versatile pattern throughout turkey season. Advantage Timber is also very good.
dartonman
Re: Camo Jim......I really like the HD green made by Realtree. My ultimate favorite is a cheap 39.00 leaf cut suit in Realtree that slips over your camo...you can check ebay, they sell for 40 bucks, or Basspro is selling them like hot cakes for the same...I love the leaf cut 3 d effect, it breaks up your outline and you dont get over heated......................al
Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Camo Most everything I have is Advantage Timber. However, during turkey season in N.E. Indiana, there is very little green yet. Therefore, I have a cheap pair of Wal-mart Mossy Oak Forest Floor pants and sweat shirt that blend in great with all of the brown around me. My turkey vest is in traditional Mossy Oak. Look around where you hunt for the time of the year and see what works best. Something with green sticks out like a sore thumb when nothing else is green yet. Then again, maybe it does not matter. Movement, or lack there of, is the key. Generally, unpreasured turkeys are dumb. Make your only movement to be pulling the trigger and you'll get your bird, no matter what pattern you wear. maytom
Re: Camo The two best camo companies out there are Mossy Oak and Realtree. So any pattern that each company put's out is great in my book!!
borch
Re: Camo I use lots of them. But my favorites are the realtree Hardwoods green or Brown. Both are good patterns depending on how leafed out everything is.
Guest beardsNspurs
Re: Camo I'll put in a vote for Advantage Timber.....it seems to blend in the best throughout the entire season here in Missouri. There may be a better camo for the first few days, and there may be a better camo for the last few days. But I think Advantage Timber works the best for me throughout the duration of the season. doubleA
Re: Camo I just got this bug suit for a a Canadian spring bear hunt. It is a real tight knit mesh and is very lightweight. I believe it's going to work out great for spring turkey also, it's in Mossy Oak Breakup Everything is turning green here, behind me is a Live Oak tree, some Youpon and Agarita.........AA
Nut
Re: Camo I usually use Hardwoods mixed with Advantage Timber double A I think I have a hat like the one in your pic
Rhino
Re: Camo I use about 4 different patterns during the spring. I just try to use whatever will help me blend in the best as spring green up progresses and with the terrain that I'm hunting. Some of our big timber doesn't have much understory. I really think the most important thing is picking a tree to sit on that's as wide as you are if it's available and being still.
