HarvDog
Any suggestions on one of those air compressor/jumper kits that you keep in your vehicle?

AJ
Re: Vehicle Air Compressor/Jumper Kit Na, if you want an on-board air compressor get a real one. Here is a shootout of different 12v underhood compressors. Add a second battery and you are well ahead of what the portable units will offer. I used to run stuff like this 15 years ago when we were big into 4 wheeling. Guys used tube bumpers, roll bars, nerf bars and other things as air reservoirs. Add a hose attachment and all you needed was a length of air hose and you can run your impact wrench, air up tires, etc. Now if you are really hard core you can also add a under hood welder and you are ready for most anything. Yeah, I know Buddy, your Ram does not see anything but pavement so these things are a bit overkill.

HarvDog
Re: Vehicle Air Compressor/Jumper Kit Excellent information AJ but this wouldn't be for 4 wheelin or anything hardcore. I was simply looking for something for emergency situations. But...I will keep some of this in mind. You are always helpful. Much appreciated.
