texastrophies
This is a serious question, so try to keep it clean please. I have an almost new pair of blue jean pants that I can't keep the zipper up on. Does anybody know of anything that can be put on it to keep it from moving so easily? And I am not talking about a safety pin.
JimT
Re: Zipper Question I cannot say my first thought....But you could walk around all day holding it up.
Newarcher
Re: Zipper Question Go to a seamstress and have the zipper replaced. That or use superglue. New
Tominator
Re: Zipper Question I've always been told that if you push the little "handle" (for lack of a better word), back towards the zipper that will lock it into place. Always seems to work for me. (**and yes, it was very difficult to not say something cute**)

Washi
Re: Zipper Question If the lock isn't working then you can get it fixed. A seamstress can do it. I think all they replace is the pull (handle). It has a little point that when you flip the pull back down catches on the teeth of the zipper. buckee
Re: Zipper Question First you could try using a pair of pliers to gently squeeze the part of the zipper that moves up and down over the teeth, don't know what that's called. That's helped on a few pairs of my jeans. Just try a little at a time or you could damage the zipper so it doesn't move at all. If that doesn't work, you might need to have the zipper replaced. You could take the jeans to a dry cleaner or sewing place, that does repairs. I did this with a couple of pairs of jeans in the past. Good luck Zippy
