[/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] and he ended up killin a big rock! he still gets picked on about it, [/ QUOTE ] How do manage to mistake a rock and a stump for a deer!!!!!!!!! My God, no wonder there are hunting accidents!! Tell me, how do you see where the bullet goes behind the front leg and into the boilermaker of a rock and stump!!! Is Sask and I the only ones noticing this?? I am SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I own my own land and don't have problems with trespassers. VTbowman
Re: Is that a deer? No Swampy your not the only one who notices the poor judgement to shoot at "objects" vs. identifying it as a deer and then taking the humain shot. I would not like those people hunting with me if they are so desperate to shoot a deer that they will take shots at things in hopes of bagging one. But you must admit, there are things out there that in certain light, to include full day light, can look like a deers body, but at closer inspectioin you can see its not. No excuse for shooting at it though. I agree..

Studies of hunting accidents have indicated that these shooter's actually believe they see game and pick a spot. Their mind plays a trick on them, probably from wanting it so bad. Never read nothing on people shooting targets thats not even alive!
