Bow Hunter Derek
Last week I purchased a couple bows from a small shop that is going out of business. This bow is a brand new 2005 Fred Bear Buckmaster 4000. I has only been shot 6 times and they were by me, just to crono it and get a feel for the cams so I could describe it to someone. The bow is right handed with 70# limbs. Draw is an adjustable module that goes from 27" to 30". It is 35 3/4" axle to axle and has a 7 1/4" brace height. It is Buckmaster's version of a cam and a half. I shot this bow today and it is blazing fast and an excellent shooter for the money. I shot it through the crono with a 351 gr arrow at 69# and 29" draw and it shot 289 fps consecutively. Overall, I was very impressed with the draw cycle. It peeks steadily and then falls of to a short valley and a solid wall. With no stabilizer or anything on the strings, it did not really want to jump out of my hand either. I'll sell this bow shipped to the lower 48 for $350.00 (firm price). Paypal or money order.
