Ohiobucks
Anyone else out there using the STS system? How about some feedback? From what I've read online, they are awesome.

tedicast
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec I just recently installed one on my Outback. wasn't sure what to expect, as it is a quiet, shock free bow to start with. I was absolutely amazed. Plus I really like the added weight. Seem to aim stedier, and it balances better on the shot. I'm pretty sure you will be happy with it. Ohiobucks
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec I ordered the single, 2006 model EDS. I had something similar on my old Buckmaster G2XL. It was OK, but from what I've read about the STS, these are very effective. I will let you know what I think as soon as I get it up and running. mo_hunter
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec I don't know first hand but have heard some people are serving the string were it makes contact with the rubber stopper to keep the string from wearing in that spot. Can't wait to hear how it works for you.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec I had one but sold it 2 weeks ago, it was the single Front Mount older version. Might get the newer one in the future. They do work!

tedicast
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec [ QUOTE ] Just looked at these because of this thread. What is the major advantage that you guys have seen? Thanks. [/ QUOTE ] I think the major advantage is just how dead the bow feels in your hand. The STS also helps stop the string in a consistent spot every time, which in theory should help consistency. The only downfall I can honestly see the the STS is that some people might not like the little extra weight it adds to the bow. It defonately changed the way my Outback felt, but to me it was a change for the better.
Ohiobucks
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec [ QUOTE ] .....might not like the little extra weight it adds to the bow. [/ QUOTE ] I thought about this before I ordered it. I think a little extra weight low on the bow may help steady your shots. Again, I will give a complete update after it is installed. Chris, I 'll call you to come over and shoot when I get it. Gonna have to wait until it is at least 30 degrees out though, can't picture myself out there shooting my bow on a day like today..... Pudd
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec probably depends on the bow , on my new protech there wasn't alot of noticable difference, but on my last two bowtechs it worked great. I would recomend serving the string where it hits the stopper.
Guest Buck Magnet 007
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec Becareful of the STS as it can cause alot of headache when tuning. If your bow is already tuned well and you just plan on throwing the STS on and everything being fine, think again. I spent HOURS on my STS with my Old Glory. The STS was causing consistant nock high/right tears. It was easy tune without the system but with it on it was a complete pain. I had to continually move where the stopper sits and try to get it to shoot bulletholes. As far as how effective it is, yes it works but there are more and more complaints being formed about it. The biggest thing I have heard is that it makes the shot noise louder but it makes the noise end quicker. This was tested by several guys using dB meters and they found the STS to actually be louder. Pinwheel5
Re: Just ordered the STS for my Razortec I have sold about 50 of them since I started carrying them and have told everyone that has bought one that if they did not like it for any reason I would give them there money back. I have had 3 returned. I had no trouble installing any of them or any tuning complaints.
