ousoonerfan22
We have snow on the ground so I tried calling at several locations today with no luck. Then before dark I tried about a 1/4 mile from where I live and had two run in on me the first sequence.I shot at the lead coyote at probably 40 yards and it yelped but I followed the tracks and didn't find any blood. They came in so quick and I rushed the shot so I just educated these two coyotes.
huntinsonovagun
Re: blew it this evening Were you using an electronic caller? Buddy and I went today and it was COOOLLLDDDD.... No luck. His electric caller is down, so we tried hand calls. Hard to make a long stand when you can't feel your fingers after your first 5 minutes.... Better shooting next time! ousoonerfan22
Re: blew it this evening Haydell hand call. Yes it was cold and I tried some good area's thinking the coyotes would be moving but no luck until this evening. I doubt these coyotes can be called in again at least for awhile. What do you think? huntinsonovagun
Re: blew it this evening I doubt the same two will come in for a while, BUT there are TONS of coyotes around! Just have to get one within hearing range that's hungry.
