Ive been wanting to get a semi auto shotgun that can shoot 3 1/2 shells for a long time but never had the $ but the 935 is in my price range sooo ive heard some stories about the gun good and bad. I heard that it jams when shooting 2 3/4 shells is that true ? also i heard that some people had to send it back to the factory a few times have u had any problems with it ? Any chokes that you have gotten and work well ? whats the good an bad about the gun ? soo anyway is it worth buying what is you opion ill be using it for waterfowl, turkey, and small game and upland birds pretty much everything.

Thanks for your input

Re: Mossberg 935

Well i work at gander mountain selling guns and i can answer a few questions for you. The good thing about the 935 is the price. As to the 2 3/4 shells it will not cycle them correctly. As to the gun for waterfowl hunting it will work because myself and others only use 3 1/2 or 3 in shells. The mossberg will cycle the heavier loads correctly. Well thats my experience and good luck if u have any more questons just ask

Re: Mossberg 935

buddy--if you are wanting a gun to cycle the 2 3/4 inch shells then the 935 is not for you. The gun was designed for only 3 and 3 1/2 inch shells. I purchased a 935 last summer and duck hunted exclusively with it this year. It was a poor duck season here in Oklahoma due to the dry conditions but I ended up shooting about 3 boxes of 3" shells out of the gun and never had a problem. What I was impressed with the most about this gun is the great pattern it throws with the factory chokes and the recoil with the heavier shells.

good luck

Re: Mossberg 935

only reason i want it to shoot the 2 3/4 is cause it will be my new all around gun for doves and small game to plus shooting clay brirds i mean i always could use 3" shells for that but wont that get pricey ?? thanks for your opions they are realy helping me figure out what kind of gun will work out the best for me.
