Swamphunter
When you first got your Cuddeback, was it a bit overwhelming as far as all the options and setting on it? Man, I love everything it can do, but what a set of instructions! What sucks is there is no actual on/off switch and you just remove the batteries. If I remove the D-cells, will I lose all my settings? I am also trying to figure out how to get the pictures onto the TV or into the computer. I am not very computer literate. joeyd50
Re: ATTN: Cuddeback owners swamphunter1968, I have Cuddeback 1.3 and yes it did heat up my brain reading the manual. My 1.3 does not have a on/off switch, but the manual tells you to put it in standby. When I remove my batteries all I have to do is reset the time & date all my other settings are still in the camera Joe
wtnhunt
Re: ATTN: Cuddeback owners Should have bought a leaf river Ken. Just kidding buddy. Bet once you have had it for a little while it will all seem really simple. Good luck with it. One thing for sure, you will love the convenience of the digital over the film. Mirage
Re: ATTN: Cuddeback owners hey swamphunter1968 yeah it is alot of stuff but just take your time and read the owners manual. There is no on and off switch however there is a standby mode. If you remove the batterys you have to set do the setup. Im telling you its easy, a couple times of useing and you going to be an expert, I use a memory card and a card reader that plugs into a usb port in the back of your computer. I take out the memory card in the feild and put in a a fresh one take the memory card that i just took out and put it in my card reader at home. I open up my computer and click on external device then it opens up the pictures works great, For video you need quick time its free at quicktime.com i think, Hey if you got any questions on it pm me i might be able to help. I have three cuddebacks and kinda know them well. Sean
Guest rutnroy
Re: ATTN: Cuddeback owners it won't be long before you know how to work these great cameras. leave the cameras out in the woods , just exchange the cards and down load to your cp. works great
