snapper
Re: how often to you guys buy new bows Last bow I had for 8 years...this one was bought in 2000. Guess if bows held their value like a gun...I'd invest more, just can't justify the cost of some of these bows.
Ohiobucks
Re: how often to you guys buy new bows $$$ flow has a lot to do with it. I bought my Hoyt about 2-1/2 years ago used.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: how often to you guys buy new bows not often enough but I take care of my stuff and it lasts awhile, then again every year it would be nice to have the latest but that gets pricey and often enough, not needed!! Strut10
Re: how often to you guys buy new bows The one I'm shooting now, I got in 2001. It works well........I like it...........I can't see buying a new one until this one's beyond repair. I like to get my "dollars-per-deer" down pretty low on each bow I own. atthewall
Re: how often to you guys buy new bows I only buy if my primary ride doesn't outperform the newest technology. Right now I shoot a 2003 Hoyt UltraTec and 2004 Hoyt XTec. Speed wise, both are fast, forgiving and accurate. I still own my first recurve (60s vintage Blackwidow) for my primary recurve hunting bow. Haven't found a need to replace her yet and she's been golden since 1970
Adjam5
Re: how often to you guys buy new bows My 1st bow was a 1989 Bear Whitetail legend, shot that up until 2004 when I became a Mathews Outback owner So I'm averaging 15 or so years inbetween! But I'll be upgrading soon...my oldest son has his eyes on my Outback...I have 3 sons so it looks like every 3 or so years now I'll be buying a new bow! Thats a good thing!
