Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Bucks on Soy You're talking about soybeans, right? They're generally recognized as an excellent source of protein for deer, so I don't think that there would be any negatives associated with the deer eating them. http://www.american-hunter.com/qdm/soybeans.htm
buckee
Re: Bucks on Soy I hear, that if deer eat too much soy, they start holding environmental protests outside farm houses, and along roadways.

David_218
Re: Bucks on Soy [ QUOTE ] Will eating soy effect a bucks breeding urge? [/ QUOTE ] I seriously doubt it! Day length usually determines breeding in Deer.
okbowman
Re: Bucks on Soy Some bucks have higher testosterone levels just like some human males do, I don't think it has anything to do with soybeans!
doughboy1956
Re: Bucks on Soy Soybeans are exceptionally high in protein. Corn for carbohyrates, which produce fat and warmth through the winter. So soy should have no effect on breeding, unless there is toxin in the soil. wtnhunt
Re: Bucks on Soy Dont think soybeans or other food sources would have any negative effects on a deers urge to breed. Come time for the rut most bucks do not eat too much anyways.
