Re: Realtree Turkey Team #12

Hello turkeygirl and all of the rest of the team! Sorry it's took so long but I've been busy with work. My season starts April 15th and I'm taking off the first week to hunt. I usually tag out so I should be good for an Eastern. Maybe the rest of the team will post soon. I like the names you came up with and will see if I can think up a couple. Oh by the way I'm in Eastern Kentucky in case you're interested!

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #12

Ok, I emailed Borch and told him that StrutStalkers was our name. Good luck msskeet; go get em'! I've seen turkey sign on land I don't hunt on. I've got to get to some state land to find some turkeys though. There is a group of turkeys on land that I can't hunt on that borders the land I can hunt on near home so maybe if there is still that gobbler around I saw in the fall, I might have a chance. good luck everyone!

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #12

....i got set up just before sunrise...no one has heard any gobbling this past week....we make turkey noises....there are so much clucking and gobbling coming back to us, we think that there are hunters on the other side of the field....we see turkeys flying down from 3 different trees....the tom that we have seen earlier hits the ground like a beach ball and stays puffed and strutting for an hour...an hour...thats how long i watched him from 75 yards strutting and not getting any closer...he breeds two hens and they all move into the woodline....we rush to catch them on the other side on the powerline....not there.....i leave at 9a......at 12.30p there are reports of the tom in the field at the spot we were set up....i move back in on the side of the roosting tree....from 2p to 6p nothing....at 6.05 i see the tom on the opposite side...he ignores my calls and feeds off into the woodline.....mr unpredictable.....i am off for 10 days starting sunday and its off to the races again!!!!!!......cal
