Turkeygirl
I'm bored...well not really, lol. You guys do not know how lazy I'm being with not having school or working custodial for a week; it it's just the beginning! I was just playing Cabela's Deer Hunt 2005 and I'm trying to get through this one level; I have to kill 2 does/2 bucks with a bow and I just got attacked by 2 black bears, argh! So I got restarted but then I quit, it's too nerve racking So now while I'm visiting my favorite forums, I'm finishing up those Ultimate Hunt Giveway entries. I am hoping to go out squirrel hunting Monday and Tuesday; they are the last two days of the season. So, what has everyone else been up to this weekend? LETMGROW
Re: What to do.... Just went up to my camp and checked on things. Saw a flock of about 12 turkeys across from my leased hunting land. That will get you going. Gonna settle in for the race and pop a top! tallone
Re: What to do.... Working nights but this is the last one then off to bourbon street tomorrow to take in some mardi gras sights and learning how to use my new camera. I second the going outdoors for granted, I grew up in Oklahoma on a farm and could shoot my guns off my porch now it's at least an hour drive to be able to do that. Shaun_300
Re: What to do.... Yesterday I went out ice fishing with my buddy, caught a few fish and had a blast. Then today we went to the Ottawa Sportsman's Show. Had some buffalo and venison stew for lunch, my mouth is still watering!

The snow squalls and wind sometimes took our breath away. But I loved the exersize and friendship. What a weekend!!! We found 10 caches and saw some areas I had not in visiting the Glen. jbeck
Re: What to do.... Headed up to Altoona Pa. and did 2 turkey calling seminars. Met up with Eric Baker up there, he's with Primos and was doing a deer calling seminar. 2 hour drive, but the pay was worth it and I didn't have that much going on anyway. That was yesterday, today after church, I headed to the office and finished a quote for a man on a new kitchen. Then I came home, watched golf, went to our small group with church and studied Mosses. Now I'm on my favorite forum and chating with everybody. Hang in there kido, spring time is coming. LOL
Rhino
Re: What to do.... It rained all day Saturday but my son came in from school since it's his birthday tomorrow. We went out shopping for a TV for his Bday to take back to school. Grandpa's TV was also on the blink so we picked up one for them too that they had already picked out. Grandpa is still recovering from West Nile Virus and doesn't have the strength yet to walk, much less set up the new TV so we delivered it to their house and set it up for them. We visited with them before for a while before making the 45 minute drive back home. Today, the family got together for a birthday lunch. We sat around and visited for a while before my son headed back to school. That's about it, except for dropping in here every now and then.
