BuckNrut
I took my nephew scouting last Sunday. He had picked out a tree to hang a stand. This is his 2nd year of hunting, the first from a tree. After explaining why "his" tree was the wrong one (no front/back cover, upwind of bedding area) I suggested we look at some other trees. We found a good one, and went back to the house to get his stand. Upon returning to the tree I picked for him we found this about 10 feet from it. BuckNrut
Re: Scouting Trip... Forgot to mention, my Nephew is only 17 and is required by law to have an adult with him. Guess who that is! We are intentionally waiting until Sunday afternoon to put up the tree stands using my climbing sticks. With rain in the forcast for the weekend and being along a scrape line, we should see some good action. Billy is looking for his first deer ever, so I will likely let a deer pass if I'm certain it is headed his way. Otherwise, I'm looking for my first deer with a ML.
