What a bunch of over paid pukes. They all have forgotten their roots IMO. [/ QUOTE ] I think that answeres your question. If I remember right, when they got out of the cars after the race yesterday, the sun had already went down.....why do they need sunglasses?? They drive all race without sunglasses when the sun is shining yet Kenseth had somebody handing him a pair before he even got out of the car after the race!!! At least Earnhardt Sr wore his when he was driving when the sun was up. [/ QUOTE ] They don't where them when driving but most have tinted visors. And maybe they just have a sunglasses sponsor? Or it is just there style, or look.
BowJoe
Re: Tony Stewart Most of the younger drivers wear sunglasses but I would hope they would have enough sense to take them off at dark. I don't think it's every driver, just a select few.

arrow32
Re: Tony Stewart [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] That made me so happy. Jimmie had a good run agian thats good also. Darn Gordon couldnt keep in the top 10 for 3 laps. [/ QUOTE ] I could care that he didnt. And as for Stewart out oh well . Bad, but it happens. Jimmie Johnson had a good run too bad he came in second to Kenseth. Gordon not in the top 10 who cares. Apparently Kenseth filled the air with enough smoke last weekend spinning around that he didn't want to do a victory burnout just play in the grass. [/ QUOTE ] To Kenseth that is probley right. As for Gordon not making the top 10 i care.

Burnouts are great but s[inning in the grass is just as cool. That's is how earnhardt did it when he won the 500, right?

Then I said, burnouts are fun to watch, but spinning in the grass is great also. Dale Sr. spun in the grass after his 500 win, right? [/ QUOTE ] 1. Are you even a NASCAR fan? how did he embarras himself? 2. It is pretty sad that some people will go so far to complain about somebodys burnout, and them wearing sunglasses. Give me a break! Matt has ALWAYS worn sunglasses, it is his style, if you don't believe me go to his website and look at all his photos 90% he is wearing them. Who really cares if he or any driver wears them! Or if and how they do a bunrout. Did anyone make fun of Junior after he won the 500, I don't remember him doing a burnout! If we can make fun of Matt for his burnout and sunglasses then why not make fun of Tony for wearing his hat like a complete moron.

Im a fan of NASCAR NOT of Matt Kenseth........Ive been to more races than i can even remember and watch every single race on tv. Matt just acts like one of the guys whos famous and he knows it and just soaks it up. He has a horrible personality hence the reason for the "shades" all the time and why I dont care for him. Drivers like him take away from the family friendly aspect of NASCAR. He just thinks hes cooler than what he is. And I would have told you that after a last place finish and no victory!! IowaDeerHunter
Re: Tony Stewart But you still didn't answer my question, how did he embarras himself. I bet if you ask anyone that has ever met Matt Kenseth, they are not going to say he was a, well you know. I just don't think that is the way he is. str8shooter48
Re: Tony Stewart Fine looking picture of my boy. Looks like he's where? Oh! its victory lane again, crooked hat and all. On any given day 1 of 43 drivers has a chance to win. When he does its his option to burnout. slide through the grass where his glasses, or his hat crooked its his day,and nobodies taking that away from that person. I'll admit it 43 guys all had the same goal to be the first to cross the finish line on the last lap it was Kenseth Sunday. What going to happen if say Kyle Petty wins next week and Kenseth and Stewart both blow up, are we going to hear the Petty fans gloat about him winning and Kenseth and Stewart posting DNF's. Its getting out of hand on week 2 its going to be a long season.

Sure Kenseth fans were especially happy to see him back and victory lan, who wouldn't be happy to see him in victory lane. But it just made it better that Stewart finished last, after what happened in the 500. Nothing got out of hand until people started taking the win away from Matt, basically saying he shouldn't have won because he didn't have the best car. And something about a blind squirrel will find a nut everyy now and then? So us Kenseth fans were just backing up our driver, I see nothing worng with that, but still, we were never bragging about him winning, or saying he wins a lot, or acting like he just won the Championship. BTW, this was just the exact repsonse I figured I would get. Fine looking picture of my boy. Looks like he's where? Oh! its victory lane again, crooked hat and all.
