I thought for sure one of the Sportscasters said Kurt Busch had surgery to pull his ears back so they didn't stick out as far. The sportscaster said he did it for aerodynamic reasons. Allow Kurt to have them sticking outside the car. Not a good choice as the rest of the drivers would think he was wanting to pit every lap. AdvantageTimberLou Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 Re: Kurt Busch\'s ears? when our driver gets into the race car he actually uses tape on his ears, not duct tape but racing tape, its to hold his ear plugs in so they don't fall out and with the sound in the car it helps with outside noise and filters it out some.
