Re: Hobbies?

Good lord..... This is my post. By the way, Im not responsible for any eye strain.... grin.gif

* Guitar (Playing for roughly 10-12 years)

* Horses (I have 4-right now and grew up with horses)

* Drawing (Including pencil, pen, pastel, etc)

* Painting (Watercolor is my favorite)

* Writing (Novels, Poetry, for the local paper, and music)

* Weightlifting (Health and exercise) 3-nights a week since high school. Im on hiatus right now. I start back up the first week in January.

* Fishing (catfish, bass, crappie, perch, sadbass, snagging, etc)

* Hunting (anything thats legal)

* Golfing (I dont get nearly as much time on the course as I would like, imagine that)

* RC Airplanes

All of this combined with 40+ hours of work a week and doing house plans/ commercial plans on the side as well as attending church and being a husband (brother, son, uncle, etc). I stay mighty busy. I was also taking Night Classes at RSU but it got to cutting into my after hours plans, ergo my profit.

and im thinking of picking up wood working. I have some drops from a cedar tree that have been dried and are beautiful. Im dieing to carve on those things.....

As you can guess I hate to sit still. My wife rarely gets to see me..... grin.gif

Re: Hobbies?

Driving aimlessly across the country (and somehow getting paid for it wink.gif )

photography (mostly scenic)

hiking and mountain biking (when schedule allows- hasn't been too often lately)

camping (also- when I have time)

Basically anyting that gets me away from Atlanta. It's a great place to live as long as you don't have to be here much.

Re: Hobbies?

Hey Harvey, question for you?

Im thinking about selling my plane. I will eventually upgrade to a trainer but im afraid the one I have now will stick to the ground and I will loose it all.

Here is my question.

I have an old german war bird with a .40 engine, 50% new servos, a Futaba radio (able to buddy link), a few extra props, extra fuel line, a fuel bottle, and a little fuel (12% nitrous).

The plane is Ready to fly. Its a Balsa plane. It had one small hole in the wing where I sat it down in a field and gave it a small puncture. I placed some clear box tape over the hole (slick tape= no drag). The plane is literally air worthy. All someone would have to do is buy a plug igniter (mine crapped out) and it could possibly use a new needle valve (about $5.00).

Do you think that $100-150 is to steep to ask?
