Ok, you can't **** and you can't tell everyone that they can't say **** even if you're saying it in a directive? Oh and by the way, I didn't say what you think I said - I actually put the little *'s in myself - course, I guess I can't do that either???? If your talking about H-ell, Even though the auto edit stars it out, I have aloud it to be used, if used in it's proper context and not just as a filler, slang word to curse someone out, etc. I think I've even used it myself in it's proper context. I'm not quite following you. If you insist on calling the terrorist some sort of name...why don't we come up with a term that refers to their blackened hearts instead of what they wear on their heads. There is too much whiny crap going on with the aclu suing to remove the rights of Christians and here we are having silly discussions about how a limited few a ways back somehow got bent out of shape about a name referring to what a person is wearing on their head and those names for some reason became off limits on this site. I personally really could care less one way or the other if those terms are or are not allowed. Does not make any difference in how I go about reading and writing my posts and responses here. I fully understand and appreciate the job of the moderators here and appreciate this site. As for what is and is not allowed I also understand we have to follow the rules and for good reasons it has been established that there are certain words and references that will not be tolerated here. Dont know, but guess maybe there is possbilities of frivilous legal actions if by some chance someone was somehow offended and they ran across something in here, cannot be too careful now a days and that said I guess editing out may in some ways be needed. Dont really know why the name calling is necessary for those that we could simply call "terrorists", but at the same time it does not offend me personally. IF ANYONE has been offended then let me know and I'll issue a formal apology to the whole forum. As for the name, a member has suggested that we change it slightly to "little sheet holes". I'm suggesting that we go one step further just so we don't offend all the regular everyday sheet holes and use the term "little terrorist sheet holes". buckee Posted November 18, 2004 Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 Re: I don\'t get it The way I see it, it's not so much about someone coming in here and being offended by what they read (although that is taken into consideration as well), it's more about this site not being responsible for the spreading of hatred and bigotry to our young people and old, by grouping a very large group of people (millions of people) together, by the careless use of a descriptive adjective that applies to a persons nationality, custom, color of skin, or religion, instead of using an adjective which can more precisely identify only those who you are actually trying to discuss. If we are going to find a name for terrorists in this world, lets try to find a more fitting description, that doesn't encompass millions of Innocent people as well. If we're going to talk about terrorists, let's talk about terrorists and leave the other few million souls out of the conversation. It's all about their hearts guys, not what they wear on their heads. Why are we having this conversation ? I hope I don't have to find some other way to get my stance on this issue across to a few of you, because I'm running out of things to say ...
