huntinsonovagun
Looks like spring is here for us Okies. Noticed some Redbuds (I believe...) with some small flowers in bloom. Couple more weeks and the turkeys should be getting fired up. Just over a month until turkey season opens! Seems early this year!! Can't believe it's already time for plants to come out of hibernation!!! Hope we get some rain soon to keep everything alive!
bfletch7441
Re: Trees in bloom. The pear and plum trees are loaded with blooms also. I pruned several this past weekend, hoping it would help them produce a better fruit. Ben

David_218
Re: Trees in bloom. The problem with early warm-up's and above normal temps. is that this makes the possibility of a freeze in late April or early May more likely.

Yep, looked that way here too, buttercups are everywhere, blooms on our peach and a few other fruit trees, just too bad we have had frosts the last few nights though.
