Tough buck

Eastern Colorado whitetail buck was harvested while chasing does during the rut.

Another large buck's broken antler was lodged in his neck!

WOW! That is unreal, I know one thing, the mount would have that other antler still in this impressive buck. Amazing what we see in nature, think of all the other things we don't see! smile.gif

Here in Michigan they harvested a buck that had another leg growing out of its back, it was a little leg but none the less, weird!!

HOOOOOOLY SMOKES!!!! thats awsome what a trophy i hope that guys getting it mounted with the antler in it like that .....man now im ganna be looking for a buck with an antler hangin out its neck lol .....unbeliveable!!

I found a buck skull in the bottom of a 150' gully that had a piece of an antler imbedded it the skull right under the eye socket. I don't know whether the antler killed him or if he might have fallen over the edge of the gully. The antler didn't pierce the brain cavity, so he may have been shoved off the edge and died from the fall.

that sweet. i wonder if the deer wasnt found dead and than shot.... it seems unreal that the deer could sruvive long with such a puncture to the neck
