Mach1
Re: Southern Illinois I was back home this past weekend and went out with my brother and fiancee, but came home empty handed. I'm from along the IL/IN state line near I-70. My uncle did find a 140in 9pt that had died about 150 from my house. I'd post a pic if I was able to get into photobucket tonight. Mach1
Re: Southern Illinois ParrotHead - My hometown is south of Danville about an hour an 20 minutes. Here is the 9pt rack my uncle found this past weekend. Here is a 6pt rack my brother found a couple weeks ago. Here's a few other pictures of the bigger sheds and racks we've found over the past few years.

Mach1
Re: Southern Illinois That was our initial thought on the 9pt in the first pic as it was found near water. None of us had ever seen that deer. Blue tongue was found in some deer that were found about 8-10 miles from our hunting area. The 6pt in the second pic we think died due to getting shot or attacked as my brother saw it hobbling around on 3 legs during the second shotgun season. I had seen it in early November during bow season and it was in perfect condition chasing does.
