VtBowhunter
Re: YOUNG ONES My oldest son started hunter safety last night. He has to do his reading and workbook for next weekend when he'll take his test. With any luck, I'll have him in the woods for the youth weekend. maddhunter
Re: YOUNG ONES Yep I'll be taking my son, who will turn 8 in May, for his second season. Hopefully we will get a bird this year. My primary objective is to get his bird first, I'm not even taking my gun untill he gets one. And after he gets one I'll be taking my bow along and try to get us both one. Got to consintrate on that first one first!!!!!!!!!!!!
James7xChamp3
Re: YOUNG ONES Taking a kid hunting is a joy. I took my nephew last season and he took his first Tom with me. I'll never forget the smile on his face and the joy I felt that day. Can't wait to do it again!

I am looking forward to teaching him what I was taught by my dad. Some nights I lay awake thinking about how the hunt will be. I quess it is time to pass the torch......
