Cell phone shopping

Well, my Sprint contract is finally up. Tomorrow we go shopping for a new contract. What to do...what to do crazy.gif

I don't really want Sprint anymore. Cingular has the best family plans as far as I see on the internet. They are lower in price and you can't beat the rollover. But of course they are not known for great coverage like Verizon. Now verizon has the best coverage but are more expensive and do not have the rollover...unless I missed something. Any ideas....besides trying to sell me what you have grin.gif

Re: Cell phone shopping

I have the Nextel, job supplied. I will tell you that if you find the best package, and go the the carrier you like. They usually will match the minutes. We just threatened to end our Nextel service, and they cut the bill from 700 a month down to 300.

Re: Cell phone shopping

My sister in law is a sales person for verizon and she has tried to get us to switch. Have a cingular plan here, get discounts with all our services through bellsouth. We do not have the rollover plan, but never use all our minutes month to month. Been pretty happy with cingulars service, think we have had our cell service with them for about 7 years now.

Re: Cell phone shopping

Well we went with Cingular. 2 phones (2 lines) , 550 anytime mins, nights and weekends free after 9pm, minuets rollover (that's the part I like), for 59.00 a month.

Now we can dump our house phone that costs us almost 45 dollars, plus dump AOL that is going up to 19.95 a month and go to comcast highspeed which is only 42 a month. We save in the end. Can't beat that wink.gif
