hutchies
Re: need a good broadhead for moose/bear! I think any good fixed blade broadhead will do the trick like a muzzy, thunderhead, or something with a good cutting diameter. Personally I would try to get something that is one piece for Moose like a Montec G5.
JimT
Re: need a good broadhead for moose/bear! I would use a Muzzy four blade. Where in Maine are you going to be hunting? Bear hunting is alot of fun. If it is your first time you will be hooked for sure. Do not hold your breath for the moose permit, as they can be hard to come by. But good luck with the drawing anyways.

VtBowhunter
Re: need a good broadhead for moose/bear! The G5 Montec 125 Grain will do it with both critters.
puffy
Re: need a good broadhead for moose/bear! I have to agree with hutchies on this one. Most of the fixed blade broadheads like thunderhead, muzzy, or Barrie (Rocky Moumtain Razors) all work equally as well. Just make sure they stay surgically sharp. mehunter
Re: need a good broadhead for moose/bear! You won't go wrong if you use either Wasp SST or Muzzy. I have taken bear with both, and a friend took his moose using muzzy's. Good luck!!
