Newarcher
I finally decided and found a dealer willing to deal. Here is my process: Went to edmunds.com and asked for dealer drive out prices. I then chastised most dealers for giving me "internet pricing". One or two gave me true drive out and I used that in a round of "can't talk on the phone at work, please email me only" bargain hunting. Only after I got the price I wanted did I go into the dealership and buy. Edmunds.com is a great resource for anyone looking to buy. PM me and I can give you more hints. Anyway, I got a Toyota Tundra Double cab with the off-road package and the towing package (no running around looking for a hitch and putting on a cooler). I paid about $2,500 less than what Edmunds and other new car pricing services said I should pay. So I feel guud. It is a NICE vehicle! Hey mods, it is all right if I post a picture of myself on my truck? Hey don't look now but I just made a 12 pointer.....12 pointer and a truck on the same day, must be a sign of doom! LETMGROW
Re: New hunting ride You bought a Toyota? I talked to somebody yesterday who said he has had transmission problems, brake problems, just recently a new water pump, master cylinder, and now water keeps disapearing in the overflow tank. He has about 98k miles. Think he's going to buy a Dodge. LOL!

Newarcher
Re: New hunting ride Well, Finn....I gotta tell you that it is really nice! I am a pretty practical dude in that while a new vehicle is nice, it is really a hassle and a large payment. But I gotta admit, this one I am proud of! I stayed awake half of the night on Friday thinking "what have I done" and hopefully, now that has passed! New
