Re: 935 mag

There are a few prople here with the 935 gun. Any load that works good in the 835 should be just fine in the 935. Personally, I would go with an aftermarket choke around .690" diameter and Hevi 13, Hevi Shot, or the new Wingmaster HD ammo from Remington.

Re: 935 mag

1strut, were you using the fed. shells with the flite control wad? Have read where these shells don't do well out of ported barrels. The ported barrel strips the wad away from the shot before it can "control" the shot. They were designed for unported guns. The overbore doesn't hurt the pattern but the porting does.

Re: 935 mag

The choke that came on my 935 is a ported X-factor .695 choke. It might be the same as you have. I plan on trying the Hevi-Shot first with it. terry 264 might very well have the right idea, and I will have to remember that also ! Thanks terry for the advise smirk.gif By the way, 1 strut, what were you shooting ?

Re: 935 mag

You're welcome too pointer. Just relaying some things I've read about the ported barrels/chokes when used with the flite control wad. Also, would like to check out the new Rem. Wingmaster HD loads. They are supposed to be better than heavy shot for penetration, etc. etc. They are on the rem.com site.

see ya',,,,,
