EKYhunter
I'm going to try some of these arrows and was wondering if any of you all have tried them? They are bigger in diameter at the insert end than they are at the nock end. I've talked to two guys I know who are good bow hunters and they tell me that they shoot very well especially with fixed blade broadheads. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with them? Thanks! Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Nitro-Stinger Arrows ? My local shop sells a TON of them. Personally, I've never bought them, mostly due to price. Goldtips are $20 a dozen cheaper at our shop and I've had such good luck with them, why change. But that being said, the Stingers are great arrows. They group amazing. Smitteken
Re: Nitro-Stinger Arrows ? They're pretty popular at my proshop. I don't shoot them, I'm sticking with GTs. People around me swear by them. But I thought the were tapered the other way. Being narrower at the insert and gradually getting wider as you go towards the nock. That would make more sense to me. Making it more aerodyamic.
EKYhunter
Re: Nitro-Stinger Arrows ? I got three to try but they aren't flying worth a darn out of my set up. I shoot a Q2 with a whisker biscuit and was previously shooting ACC 3-60s at 69 lbs. I turned my weight down for Spring turkey so my ACCs were a little over spined. I changed nothing else but draw weight and tried them. They seem to fish tailing badly. Oh yeah I also switched to the aluminum biscuit as the stingers were just to big in diameter for the carbon biscuit. You guys that are familiar with these arrows, do you know what rest others have been shooting them with? Thanks for your info!
