PAbowhunter4life
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El It will hurt their punt return game, but as far as hurting us at the WR position, I'm not real worried. He stepped it up in the playoffs, but overall he's nothing spectacular by any means. Oh wait, I forgot, he can run gadget plays. The Redskisn SEVERELY overpaid, and they'll soon come to realize that. buckbuster11
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El I dont blame Randle El one bit, he got a killer deal. Overpaid is an understatement. Randle El is a nice player but he is not worth that. The Steelers will be just fine. I wonder if Randle El would of got 31 million if he didnt throw that TD pass in the Super Bowl?
okbowman
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El It won't just hurt the Steelers, I have a feeling that it will hurt the Cowboys too!! I hope not!@!
VtBowhunter
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El The Steelers will be better off. I see the Taking Sinorice Moss in the Draft anyway, and he's just like ARE in size and speed, but I believe a better receiver.
PAbowhunter4life
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El As of right now all the mock drafts have them taking my boy Bobby Carpenter from my boys at Ohio St., if he falls that far that is. For the record, anyone see that the Redskins got Brandon Lloyd from San Fran??? Hmmm, I wonder where El fits in to this picture for all that money. Lloyd is twice the receiver El could ever hope to be, as is Santana Moss.
buckbuster11
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El El will be a #3 receiver and maybe a kick/punt returner down there. Definately not worth the money they paid him.
007hunter
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El Didn't you guys hear? They puttin him in as QB! J/K...not a bad idea though....D. Ramsey isn't much to shake a stick at...

VtBowhunter
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El The Steelers are rumored to be trying to trade their #32 pick away to the Lions for WR Mike Williams. I believe that this is a strong possibilty as the Lions just signed another key Wideout.
muggs
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El From what I've heard he's really impressing the scouts. He ran a 4.49 40, and has impressed in all other fields...he's not even 100% (still recovering from a broken leg or foot, can't remember) so that 40 time should improve. Crennel was at the Buckeye senior day, and the only people who ran were Carpenter and Hawk. I wasn't sure what to make of that.
PAbowhunter4life
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El [ QUOTE ] Really? He's that good? [/ QUOTE ] Carpenter was one of the best Linebackers in OSU, and possibly NCAA history, the problem was he was overshadowed by A.J. Hawk so much that not a lot of people noticed him. In all honesty, Hawk was GREAT and will be GREAT in the NFL, but having Carpenter (and Schlagel) as supporting cast members freed him up to make a lot of plays he probably wouldn;t have been able to with average linebackers there. buckbuster11
Re: Redskins sign former Steelers WR Randle El I'll take your word for it that he's good enough to go at 12 although I'm still skeptical but one of the best linebackers in NCAA history......I dont even think muggs would agree with that.
