AJ
Re: 30.30 leverevolution It's an interesting concept to bring attention back to some anemic cartridges. It's definately better for long range than using flat point ammo.
johnf
Re: 30.30 leverevolution I'd like to see what it's going to cost. It may be worth the extra cash on ammo to have another long range rifle. I love to shoot my 30-30 but havn't hunted with it for a few years because it didn't have the range for the places I've been hunting. LETMGROW
Re: 30.30 leverevolution I'd bet AJ will aagree with me, the new design probably will extend the range of the 30-30 somewhat ,But I don't see it replacing any of the standard long range calibres as we know of them now. The .308, .270, 30-06, etc are still probably pretty safe from extinction. I would consider this new innovation simply an improvement to the trusty old 30-30, to satisfy some diehard lever action fans.
AJ
Re: 30.30 leverevolution Yep, I sure do agree. The ammo is not the limiting factor with most of the 30-30 guns.
