VermontHunter
Man, I honestly thought someone would have had something to say about JJ winning the race yesterday..... Finally the Hendrick cars are showing some strength on the flat tracks.... 3 of the Hendrick cars in the TOP 5 ,,, but most of all Gordon finished 5th. on a track he stinks at... and moving him back into the top ten in points.... I still don't understand what Stewart and Busch are trying to prove with their smash up derby style of driving.... Anyhow it was great to see team Hendrick (especially Gordon ) have a good day and finish decently..... even tho the BEST car didn't win the race... Chrud
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race I took a nap. Those flat tracks that don't offer any side-by-side racing are boring. Did the 48 pass inspection this time? If so, congrats to him. The 8 shot themselves in the foot. Even without the penalty, he would have came out around 18th. Atlanta should be a bit more exciting. MUDRUNNER
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race I like it! Somebody has to make a little excitement at a boring flat track.Beside the finish, which was great, the rest of the race was a snoozer.Kyle B. seems like a cry baby to me. slugshooter
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race I was listening to the race on the radio and they were talking to one of the head guys at LVMS,(can't remember who), I think next year the rading is going to be a little more exciting at Vegas. He said that pit road is going to be moved 185 feet closer to the front stretch and that the banking will be increased for 12 degrees to 20 degrees, plus, they are going to have a diamond shaped interactive garage area where fans can walk above the garage area and watch the teams work on the cars below. Oh, and they are going to build a condo complex outside one of the turns.

[/ QUOTE ] Tony Stewart is the Cryinist Baby on the Track. "Hey other Drivers look in your rear view Mirror, it's me Tony S Get Out Of My Way Or I'll Bump You then Call you an Idiot on TV later because you were in front of me (even though you just pasted me because you were faster than me), & didn't let last years Champion just breeze by you with out blocking me. Can Some one Call My MOMMIE" If Kyle B. had bumped Tony, He'd gotten a Drive through or Something. Tony doesn't like the "do on to others" The Other Drivers are Getting Tired of Tony's CR_P!!!! 3 races & Tony has had controversy in all 3. Tony said it Correct right after the Bud Shoot Out. "WE ARE GOING TO KILL SOMEONE" Yep, You are Tony, if you continue to Drive the way you have in the first 3 Races. The Day it happens, I'd be suprized if TS isn't involved. IMHO!!!! Hope we never see that Day Again.
IowaDeerHunter
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race Yeah, TOny must think that NASCAR won't do anything to him since he is after all the reigning champion (doesn't act like it). But the sad part is guys, it is true. NASCAR won't do anything.

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race The reason nobody talked about it was because like mom would say, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!" Just kidding!! Was a decent race, caution screwed Matt over on the win. If Knaus comes back and the team starts losing, will he get fired then? One can only hope!! LOL!!! deerslayer06
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race yea it was a pretty good race exept for that last caution that screwed the 17 over. oh well, 2nd in points is nice and the team is riding on a nice wave to hotlanta. looking for the 17 to be good there as well. tony is still crying, whats new? go 17! Bowhntr
Re: Sunday\'s Nextel Race Can't complain too much. Typical flat track racing but it was an exciting finish. I just hate the 8 pulled the bonehead mistake of entering pit road to fast. They were sitting for a top 15 finish until the penalty. Shucks for Jr. 15th at Vegas was as good as a win. Look for the 8 to be strong at Hotlanta.
