hangunnr
Re: 45 ACP load data Are you looking for a paper punching load or just a general plinking round? hangunnr
bowana
Re: 45 ACP load data I agree with hangunnr.....what do you want this load to do? Big differences between competition loads, practice loads, defensive loads and hunting loads. I have always liked Blue Dot powder, Cheap 230 grain lead bullets bulk, Win/CCI Primers and Win/Rem Brass. LONG LIVE THE 1911!!!!
LETMGROW
Re: 45 ACP load data You probably won't get much advice on this forum because of liability concerns. No offense meant to you or anyone else. My best advice would be get an up to date reloading manual, study it carefully, and start small. Heed all the warnings. I'll bet AJ has something to say about this!
AJ
Re: 45 ACP load data I have had great results with hard cast 200 gr SWC, whatever primer is on sale, and a mild load of Hodgdon Universal Clays powder. It is a very clean burning powder and makes for some accurate target/plinking loads. For defense loads, I only use factory ammo. Usually Remington 200 gr Golden Sabre.
