[/ QUOTE ] They are usually only bad in the spring and fall. Summer time we dont see many. I keep the yard clean and we do check when the kids go out, and dont leave them out unsupervised. [/ QUOTE ] Biggest water moccasin a little over 5 feet in the river bottom, thought it was a log, seriously. Biggest copperhead about 4 and a half feet. Have seen a few timber rattlers, they usually are pretty small. Biggest non venomous snakes around here are the racers, they are pretty cool to watch, and they eat the venomous snakes.
