Guest lilcrackshot
I was at the pawn shop and saw a very old Remington M-572 that the barrel and action were gold colored. The barrel appeared to be made out of brass. Anybody ever heard of this? If it is brass how will that effect barrel life etc.?
AJ
Re: Huh?? It sounds like Remington's 572 Lightweight. It had an anodized alloy receiver and barrel that had a sleeved steel insert. They came in three colors Buckskin Tan, Crow-Wing Black, and Teal-Wing Blue. They had a checkered sun-grain stock and were made between 1958 and 1962.
