doughboy1956
Re: Fawn North of the 32,nd Parallel, most does drop their fawns in May or June. There are records of fawns that were born in January and Febuary. these are once-in-a-lifetime happings. It depends a on what estrus cycle the doe was bred in. If she went through 4 estrus cycles without being bred than she will drop her fawn late.
wtnhunt
Re: Fawn Have seen them as early as the end of April and as late as July. Most drop end of may to beginning of June.
Master_Chief
Re: Fawn As you can tell the fawn birth varies as does the rut. Not a coincidence.
Tominator
Re: Fawn Congratulations to you! First fawn post of the year! j/k--I think most fawns around here get dropped in late May to mid June. Lately I've noticed a lot of late drop fawns due to the mild winters we've been having of late. Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: Fawn Around here, Northern Pa, some where around late May/ early June. Estrus cycle depending. most fawns in the NE are born during this period or should I say, should be born during this period. A second rut will prolong this a bit. 28 days or so.
