Squirrelhunter91
Little Johnnie's neighbor had a baby. Unfortunately, the baby was born without ears. When mother and new baby came home from the hospital, Johnnie's family was invited over to see the baby. Before they left their house, Little Johnnie's dad had a talk with him and explained that the baby had no ears. His dad also told him that if he so much as mentioned anything about the baby's missing ears or even said the word ears, he would get the smacking of his life when they came back home. Little Johnnie told his dad he understood completely. When Johnnie looked in the crib he said, "What a beautiful baby." The mother said, "Why, thank you, Little Johnnie." Johnnie said, "He has beautiful little feet and beautiful little hands, A cute little nose and really beautiful eyes. Can he see?" "Yes", the mother replied, "we are so thankful; the Doctor said he will have 20/20 vision." That's great", said Little Johnnie, "cuz it'd be a shame if he needed glasses." They aren't Gods. No offense to the MODS, but I bet they get tired of people raising a stink over the slightest thing as well. Just laugh. It's a joke. There's nothing wrong with laughing. I bet people with no ears think that's hilarious. You guys need to check out Carlos Mencia on Comedy Central. Aside from the cussing (which I don't mind because I'm not the one doing it) he makes real sense and not this Politically Correct stuff either. People need to stop going and start going !!! AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Little Johnnie strikes again!! man o man, its a joke and its almost hard to even laugh in the forums about it! I agree with BowJoe, we all weren't saints in school, we all did gags and told jokes and had fun sometimes at other people's expense, whether another student or a teacher. We all play gags and joked around. Please don't judge Joe's character by a joke, he's a good kid!!! He's on this sight that should tell you something about him and what he enjoys and that is sharing stuff with other forum members and enjoying hunting and the outdoors. We need to lighten up or people will stop coming here!
leatherneck
Re: Little Johnnie strikes again!! I though it was funny as heck Joe, and it has nothing to do with your personality. Dont worry about what some of these old guys think, they have fallen into this politicly correct world of ours and have forgotten that its ok to laugh everyonce in a while. Keep 'em coming, I love to laugh!!!!!

doughboy1956
Re: Little Johnnie strikes again!! Joe i find that people are to quick to judge others. I found that funny and i am sure many disabled persons would also. I put in a short letter from paralyzed Veteran. He is writing to the owner of a mag. he gets. The mag. is cartoons about disabilties. I am impressed with dizABLED. Your humorous cartoons not only make one laugh, but they also show that there is still life after a wheelchair. —Michael Welch, Vice President, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, Paralyzed Veterans of America

popgun
Re: Little Johnnie strikes again!! To everyone: I must admit I am more than a little surprised at the attention over one little comment I made in this thread. There is nothing politically Correct in my way of thinking about humor. The joke about the little boy that was born with no arms or legs and was invited to the baseball park to be used as third base also has no humor. Go ahead and make a joke about someone in pain from an industrial accident. (We’re praying for him) Or make a joke about someone who is going into heart surgery today for the fifth or sixth time at the age of 15. (We’re praying for him.) Make your jokes about someone who underwent surgery multiple times for cancer. (We’re still praying for him.) Go ahead and poke fun at the child that was born with back problems that made him cry for almost two years. (We prayed for him, and our prayers were answered.) Joke about the child that had to have a shunt put into his ears to let them drain because of severe earaches. (Our prayers were answered) There are countless others. Go ahead and make a joke; surely someone will laugh. My comment had nothing to do with political correctness. It has to do with kindness, morality, and compassion. I’m glad that my comment made you think, and I hope this comment does the same. ….popgun
leatherneck
Re: Little Johnnie strikes again!! It made me think alright. It made me stop and think that it is ok to laugh everyonce in a while. Life is life, sometimes its funny, sometimes its not, but if you cant laugh every so offten then you might as well not be living anyway. I was born with my both of my feet turned in and had to wear shoes with a brace between the heel that made my feet turn to the outside for 3 years. My parents told me how sad it was to see me drag myself across the floor to the window to watch the other kids play. I had a disability.... I got over it thank the good Lord and now I am fine ( matter of opinion to some hehehe) So you did get me to think popgun, you got me to thinking about how glad I am that I have a sence of humor, about myself and everything else that LIFE brings our way. We have no choice in it. Either you can sit there and be down and worry about every little thing or you can LIVE to the best of your ability.
