plannerman
Why so quite this time of year??? Seems when I'm too busy hunting and on, this forum is chatter-central. Can't someone offer some BS banter for us to throw around??? Talk about winter doldrums!
johnf
Re: Boooorrrrriiiinnnngggg!!! ML hunting with an in-line is cheating. The only real ML hunting should be with a flintlock any other ML should be used in modern gun season. How's that for banter?

AJ
Re: Boooorrrrriiiinnnngggg!!! [ QUOTE ] I think using smokeless powder is really cheating [/ QUOTE ] What you really mean to say is black powder is too dangerous and should not be legal to own. Pyrodex will rot away metal over time, deteriorating a guns strength, so should not be used. Triple 7 can't decide if its a black powder type propellant or smokeless powder so it should not be used. Tominator
Re: Boooorrrrriiiinnnngggg!!! I just bought a new T/C Black Diamond from Bulldawg, and haven't shot it yet. I think T/C is, hands down, the best ML on the market today. I will be putting a scope on it soon, and AJ doesn't know it yet, but he's going to be acting as my agent in buying one, and I'm going to pay him back. Shhhhhhhh, like I said, he doesn't know it yet. [/ QUOTE ] Have fun with it Chris, if you have not already, check out the bluelk ml chapters, some great info in there. Is yours the standard barrel or extended? My black diamond(standard barrel) does really well with the 240 grain TC xtp mags pushed by 120 grains of loose pyrodex powder. I plan on trying some american pioneer powder this summer with it though, will be fun working up some different loads.
Nut
Re: Boooorrrrriiiinnnngggg!!! In-Lines should be excluded from all primitive seasons and only used during a regular firearms season. How about one of the new Leupy scopes that hug the barrel? I can always modify any of the other scopes to look that way. I can't be out of money, I still have checks left. Bonus points for those that are shot with flintlocks or non scoped ML's. Huh-huh!?!? Whatcha think?? I also want a primative ML season in NY the first week in January.
