traprdave
Re: trapping Hmmm! Follow me for a day this winter, and I bet you change your mind about lazy!!!!! I agree also, most of my coyotes, fox, and cats are curled up sleeping if they don't know I'm there. A really uneducated statement!
Guest BigAl1781
Re: trapping i trap almost year around coons, foxes, beaver and otter in the fall and winter and coyote in the sprin and summer,,,, i dont think its cruel,, or wrong,,, i say its population control,,, beavers dam up creeks causing flooding,, coons, opossums, foxes cause car wrecks all the time,,also get in to garbage and destroy gardens,,, coyotes kill fawns, chickens, calves, and just about anything else they can catch,,, i read once that every coyote you kill you will have 5 more deer that get a chance to grow up a year,,,,,, just my 2 cents
HoosierDaddy28
Re: trapping agreed, trapping is very hard work. If I had the time I would do it every year, but we all know how that goes.

Guest Rottweiler
Re: trapping [ QUOTE ] Personally I think trapping is (ok start to flame I dont care) A lazy cruel method of hunting. Get out there and hunt, Dont let it suffer in some trap. [/ QUOTE ] These are the people that irk me and many others. Very under educated in the means of trapping and or hunting. I am going to assume you have never trapped before or even been along on a line at all to see the truth for yourself. Trapping is not hunting it is TRAPPING, hence the difference in the name. And just to show you just how REALLY cruel this is i have put up a link I would really appreciate you to have a look at and then come back to the thread and tell me again how cruel it is for these animals to be suffering as you stated. Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see. Thanks for contrbuting to take down trapping by the way. Its posts like that that put us that much closer to losing trapping altogether. Get educated on the subjects you post before you post or dont bother posting IMHO. Now if you took the whole 3 - 5 minutes to make your post it will only take you a whole 2 - 3 seconds to click this link (Which will automatically open your media player and play this video) and learn the truth of it all from the source not the antis. Anyone else who hasn't yet seen this video check it out as it is very informational and informative. Thanks. Guest Mrgoodshot131
Re: trapping The MAIN reason why people trap is to sell the pelts. you don't get full price for them if they have a bullet hole threw them. It's completely different than hunting. for those that are bagging on it get out and try it. it takes a lot more hard work and effort than you think!!!
