buckshot_09
pretty much a follow-up question on my previous topic (.270 or 30-06?), i visited the Winchester ammunition website to check out the ballistics of different calibers, and they have a column for short trajectory and another for long...what would be the difference? Shaun_300
Re: short trajectory, long trajectory, what\'s the dif? I'm pretty sure all that means is the difference in bullet drops when it's dead on at different yardages. The colomn for short trajectory would be the bullet path if it's dead on at 100 yards. Long trajectory would be the bullet path if it's dead on at 200 yards. (it may be different yardages, I just used 100 and 200 as examples.) AJ
Re: short trajectory, long trajectory, what\'s the dif? The zero location. The short range data shows the bullets path when the gun is zeroed dead on at 100 yards. The long range data shows the bullets path when its zeroed dead on at 200 yards.
