Guest ILclimber
Hey Guys, just wandering what you guys are doing in the off season to keep the hunting season in mind. I'm messing around with some turkey calling and different things. Hard to get out to Turkey hunt when you have school to attend too? Anyway good luck to all the turkey hunters and keep informed on what's going on in the woods?

MUDRUNNER
Re: Off Season Activities? I'll ride the dirt bike and 4 wheeler whenever I get the chance.I tukey hunt, but I can only get away for 1 weekend for that. This year I think I'm going to start fishing again.I haven't really done it much the last five or six years, but I really like fresh crappie or bluegill.I generally hate summer,so anything to make it go by faster works for me. rifleman25
Re: Off Season Activities? I do a little fishing. After hunting season I accept a few speaking invitations at a few hows. After that I shoot my bow alot and spend as much time reloading and shooting off my bench as I can.

Spend lots of time at our camp, hit the 4 wheeler, lots of golf, shoot as much as I can, 3D and once in a while I work. Try not to do that last one too much. Oh and since I am going to Colorado this year I am trying to learn how to bugle like an elk.

Rhino
Re: Off Season Activities? Turkey hunting, shed hunting, scout, fishing, planting summer food plots, up keep around the camp, road maintanence, cut food plots not planted for summer food plots, put some stands back up and trim lanes, prepare and plant winter food plots in September. There's plenty for me to do in the off season and still enjoy the great outdoors.
