Dakota
What load would work better for spring goose hunting, Hevi-shot or Winchester? And what size shot should I use? Personally, I'd like to stick w/ 3in. shells 'cause it'll give me a load off after heart surgery. I'm shooting a Remington 870 Express Super Mag. w/ modified choke if that helps any. HELP!!! lil hunter
Re: Which one? Buy a box of each, and see what patterns best, just like you would a turkey gun. Yes it is a little expensive, but it could make a big difference.

Covehnter
Re: Which one? Everythings gonna boot ya around a little bit using that 870, be sure to get an R3 (sims) recoil pad for it, got one on my turkey killer and it helps ALOT! If you can afford it i'd lean toward the hevi shot, but patterns the key.
